And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Pretty sure that's an Irish roadrace, not The Isle. They tend to be more entertaining. Rare to find more than a couple bikes together at the IoM. Also, the road on the Isle tends to be better than that, more defined.
Nothing I know of, talk of pursuit I think was bullshit to keep the masses docile. The supposed charges sounded like a slap on the wrist anyway, you know, the french weeinies. The masses are handing them a lot more now anyway in regards to the passport bullshit.
Isle of Man. How do I know? It's raining.

DeleteThat reminds me, whatever happened to that French bint who caused a massive pile-up in the Tour with her sign?

DeleteThe Tour de France dropped their lawsuit and withdrew their complaint. Guess they had their reasons.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Thanks for the update.
DeleteSorry I had not seen your comment yet. My guess was to scare the rest of the public during the rest of the race from being stupid as well.
ReplyDeleteNot convinced it's the Isle of Man. Ulster, maybe
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty bunched up for the IOM? Circuit race?
