The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? My mutt is addicted to anything snow. I think she thinks the snow is a thing, and it's out to get her. If it's deep she'll dive in and tunnel under it and come up over there somewhere. After about 15 mins her feets are cold and hurting and she'll stand still, holding one foot up, with her pleading eyes. I'll pick her 47 lb ass up and stick her frozen feets inside my down vest.
