  3. Any one remember the two old guys names on the TV bowling when we were young'ns? It always seemed to be them in the finals. Got old and can't remember anymore.

  4. Up here in the Northeast we played our senior bowling league on Tuesday. The 'wood' (dead or fallen pins) left on the lane introduces a chaos factor that makes for a much more unpredictable game.
For the wood giveth and the wood taketh away.

In the NE, the Saturday morning bowling show was "Candlepins for cash".

  5. Bear Claw, I bet you are thinking of Dick Weber and Earl Anthony. My mom knew Earl Anthony form bowling at his facility in Dublin, CA. She held him in high regard.
