And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've got 5 giant Carolina Reaper plants that are each putting out 30+ peppers weekly & I don't see an end. I mostly makes sauce for gifts, it's way too hot for me. It's most fun to watch badass pepper people bite into one, they find out that they aren't as badass as they thought.
(DeplorableFloridaMikey); I used to grow jalapenos and used them to make pepper jelly or jalapeno poppers. My grandson would eat them right out of the garden. One year I also grew some habaneros, a whole new level of hot. I had picked some and had them in a container on the kitchen counter. Grandson came in with a couple of his buddies, they were about 14 the time. I told him to leave the habaneros alone but being a typical teen male in front of his buddies, he decided to show off, grabbed a pepper and bit into it. The results were spectacular, to say the least. The best lessons are learned the hard way is certainly true.

ReplyDeleteSame here, but I like the reaper in small quantities. We make the sauces with flavor to make sure it is not hexane you are eating...lol.
DeleteI'm a big fan of the middle bottle.
ReplyDeleteI use these products for my colonoscopy preps.
ReplyDeleteTastes a lot better than magnesium citrate 🤪
DeleteJust last night I thought it had been a long time since I made chili hot enough to require a napkin just for the sweat.

ReplyDeleteA friend brought a Beware bottle for me from a SCUBA trip he was on. Great stuff! Hot and good on anything. One splat on an egg is perfect.
