And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Nice later-model year Scout. My uncle was living in Rangely CO in the early 60s when IH started making them. He went to the dealer and told them he'd pay a bonus if he could get it in orange. The dealer told him no way, and my uncle said, well write up the factory order with that color and see what the quote would be. There was some haggling and the quote came back for the vehicle as a custom mix factory paint job. A few months later, the deal was completed and the orange Scout showed up, probably in mid-1963 or so. At the time, he had the only one in the country. It's a good color, although the orange in the photo is much more vibrant than my uncle's was.
Orange you jealous?
