And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Crew Dragon capsule before and after flight to Space Station
Well, most of that was from re-entry.
ReplyDeleteSpaceX says they'll slap some paint on it, replace the heat shield and a few other little things and 'poof' ready to launch.
Just like Rockwell and North American Aviation had planned to do with the next generation of Apollo capsules, back in... 1968.
But now they aren't at the fickle mercy of Congress and funding changes.

ReplyDeleteNo, SpaceX is a private company. They are also privately held, i.e. they aren't listed on an stock exchange.
