  1. Never saw this picture before. My FiL went in that day but think on a LST, but not positive.

  2. Dad went in the second wave at Omaha Red beach. He and two men lived from that boat. Asked him if he wanted to go to Normandy on the 50th. He replied with profanity making it clear that once was enough. God bless him and the men that sacrificed so much.

  3. LCVP's were a crucial factor in our victory. God bless Mr. Higgins and all the men who rode in those boats and the men who operated them
