Giving it all for the ball

  1. The bleacher wall in left field Fenway. Lots of triples there.

    1. That's the triangle, right center field...

  2. The Batter's Ballpark. Saw many a game there with Dad / Grandad back when Yaz, Petrocelli, Conigliaro, Scott, etc. were playing. My favorite park.

    1. But not for homers. Generally among MLB’s fewest. The wall is too high. Right is where almost all the Sox greats hit to. Dick Stuart (Dr Strange Glove) was mismatched to Fenway.

    2. True, sykes.1, but for hitters that can place the ball, a well-hit single can hit those corners and angles and bounce around enough to confound the fielder. I saw George Scott hit a solid double and turn it into an in-the-park homer because of that, it was beautiful.
