And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The generational difference between these actors and the current millennial crop is huge. They willing sacrificed and served our country in the military instead of whining about how unfair life is.
You got that right Bogside! The worthless generation would die off by the millions without iPhones, electricity, grocery stores, and the parents who are supporting them into the 30s. There was a great video of a bunch of college kids sitting around watching an adult female trying to figure out how to use a manual can opener!
I wish I'd never learned what a liberal Eli Wallach was, though.
Funny thing about the movie, "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" is that the story line takes place in New Mexico just after the Battle of Glorieta Pass. I'd seen the movie dozens of times before it clicked with me that the places they were going were all in New Mexico (even though it was filmed in Spain).
