And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My first car was a tan 1969. With a 383 and an auto. I too wish I still had it. A drunk turned in front of me the day after Christmas, 1976. And totaled it.
I had a 69 Dodge Coronet with a 440 Magnum and a Six Pack with a police interceptor package. It used to be an unmarked Alabama State police car and it was issued to a high ranking officer. Almost no wear and only 38,000 miles when I picked it up at auction. Wouldn't get off the line worth peanuts, but when the second and tertiary carbs opened it was a beast!
