And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

And, yes, I've gotten into debates with nerds about how sucky 'Force' powers would be against a squad of riflemen, a decent machine gun, or some sniper.
One of my all time favorite lines from Star Wars is when Vader tells some Admiral "You have failed me for the last time." I used to use that in my job when I fired a company for to many out of spec part deliveries.
