“Marina Abramovic and Ulay started an intense love story in the 70s, performing art out of the van they lived in. When they felt the relationship had run its course, they decided to walk the Great Wall of China, each from one end, meeting for one last big hug in the middle and never seeing each other again. at her 2010 MoMa retrospective Marina performed ‘The Artist Is Present’ as part of the show, a minute of silence with each stranger who sat in front of her. Ulay arrived without her knowing it and this is what happened.”
Show Folk. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteI do not understand how people get paid for “art” like this.
ReplyDeleteCrazy, yes. Art, I dunno. I'm just a shipping clerk. But I do know that our generation has lost a large amount of our ability or appreciation for sitting across from each other and simply seeing each other's faces. Maybe not art, but very touching and very human. IMHO
ReplyDelete"Sorry. But a deal is a deal girly."
ReplyDeleteWow !!, that was unique...
ReplyDeleteThat woman is as evil as they come. Her ties to the Podesta's, Clinton's, Epstein, et.al should make you shudder.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for her art or her politics at all, quite the contrary, but outside of that it was a tender gift bestowed. Not something you see every day, and not something I could scorn.
ReplyDeleteA'time we might stand apart from the hateful religion, politics, and see what simply is before us.
ReplyDeleteI loathe that woman. Nothing regarding her makes me feel anything other than nausea.
