If you haven't seen it yet, keep an eye out for the documentary, "They shall not grow old", which is comprised of superbly restored & improved historical footage from WWI, modernized using computers. It is dubbed with actual voices of WWI veterans recalling their experiences, as taped back in the 1970's for posterity. We saw it here at a theater when it was first released, now I see that it's on HBO. It is a very moving film, beautifully done, and it makes one appreciate the true horrors of WWI trench warfare.

  2. Mud Battleships. There were Designs done for some up to 600 Tons, powered by Steam Engines, as Gas Engines of the Time were too small.
