Here's an orientation shot, looking north toward Shasta. The bird of prey is sitting to the right on the horizontal branch.
Here he is on his preferred perch, eating his way down from the head.
What a great view out the back window. Back at the old place, there were plenty of red tailed hawks and owls galore, but no ospreys or bald eagles.
C.W.- He's trying to tell you that the fishing is excellent!
ReplyDeleteSo where's your string of fat fishies? They'll go well on the grill!
Great view
ReplyDeleteI am very lucky when it comes to birds. I live on the DE Bay Just SW of Cape May. Hawks, Eagles, Red Knots, Ruddy Turnstones, King Fishers, Ospreys and almost evry duck East of the Mississippi use the creek behind or the woods around my home.
