And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
When I think of cold weather I think of a 10 day to two week spell of sub zero temps, think a high of -10 (f).
I think of a February morning in Minnesota (2003) when I when I went out front, the sun was shining, no wind, just beautiful! I was in a sweat shirt and said finally warm! Then I looked at the large round thermometer over on the shed. One degree above zero (f). +1 and I thought it was f=finally warm again!
That was early in February, by Aug we'd sold out, packed up and were back on the west coast. That was the end of our 13 years vacation with real winters (IL, MI & MN for the last 6 yrs).
