    1. That would be the T2V-1 AKA the T-1A SeaStar. I think there is one left flying based down in Arizona somewhere.

  3. I wore it like a glove and the RCAF bird had a Rolls Royce engine that was more powerful and more reliable than the Allison in the US birds. Back in the late 70s the 95 FIS at Tyndall AFB sent a couple of instructors up to our Sqn, 414 EW at North Bay ON to relearn spin control because the USAF in it's infinite wisdom had cut it out of the syllabus and subsequently had a few problems.Well, upright spins, inverted spins, tumbles (up and down) Yes, to quote John Gillespie Magee jr "...I have flung my eager craft through footless halls of air..." I have done things with the T-33 that most folks wouldn't believe and I still fly her in my sleep; come buy me a Guinness and I will tell you all about it but it may take days:)
