German battleship size comparison, from the first Dreadnought designs to the legendary Bismarck.

  1. Blohm & Voss shipyard, in Hamburg, Germany, built the Bismarck.
    They have a model, about 10 feet long, in their main office.
    Beautiful ship.

    1. We had one about that size of the Pennsylvania at NROTC Penn State. It was really impressive. A few months later we started on Soviet sweat and the idea of a BB surviving the rigors of modern combat was made clear.

  2. As Kaiser and Konig Albert are both Kaiser-class ships, shouldn't Konig Albert be replaced with Helgoland, considering that the Helgolands follow the Nassaus in construction order?
