Vertical Camp

    Those people are putting an awful lot of faith in whatever they're using to attach the carabiners that hold up the whole shebang up. Faith in the underlying structure of the rock, too. And if they lose one mount or carabiner, the chance of a cascade failure is too great.

    Plus, it's higher than a step-stool. Sheer violation of physics and common sense.

    1. The general principle for this kind of thing is at least two anchor points. Three is better. Surprisingly few failures in this set up.
