Eewww!
The body part is believed to be that of a missing woman who disappeared while walking her dogs at the Silver Lakes Rotary Nature Park in Florida.
Davie police Detective Vivian Gallinal said a man saw a woman walking her dogs in the park. A short time later, he said, he saw the dogs wandering alone.
"The witness who called us went to the area where he thought that they had been walking, and he immediately spotted an alligator," Gallinal said.
One of the dogs was found with a fresh wound, but the woman was missing.
The clue as to who the woman was came from the only car parked at the park.
That's a big lizard! Nothing like that in California.
I heard that they cut it open and found an arm.
ReplyDeleteX2. The woman wasn't as fast out of the way as the mutts were.

ReplyDeleteNot so. Lots of them in Sacramento! More vicious and less reasonable, too- though they do wear nice suits.
The reason Florida got gators and California got liberals is because Cali lost the coin toss!
DeleteI grew up on the edge of the Okefenokee swamp. It was common knowledge that marshmallows cause alligators to go into a feeding frenzy. BTW: An alligator can digest everything except silver and gold fillings.

DeleteThanks for the info, Tony
I'm firing up my metal detector and catching the first flight out to the Sunshine State
I live in South Florida and we are letting alligators get too big. I think we should impose a 5 foot maximum limit. Even then, they are a danger to little ones. This is becoming a weekly event and it's high time hunters get to work. Plus I really could use a pair of alligator skin boots.
