I think that this is likely taking props just about as far as they can be taken.
They said that about 3 blades at one time too :)
The Airbus version of a C-130
I hear MT props is working up a 7 or 9 blade prop for turbines of 900shp. takes horsepower to turn a prop but its the prop that makes the thrust. and thrust is what pushes you foward.
900 or 9000? 900 shp is pretty weak tea for a turboprop. The latest E-2Ds have 5,100 shp engines.
900 to 1200shp as in piper cheyenne or beech king air.
