    1. P. S. Brook Trout are small (usually, though I've caught them up to 3 lbs) but they are very tasty, particularly when cooked over the coals.

    3. It's really sad when you catch one. I feel like praying to the Great Spirit and asking for a bit of forgiveness as I slip it into the kreel. You're right. They are magnificently beautiful. Native Cut-Throat come in second to the Brookies in my opinion.
