Saturday morning breakfast post.

First, a trip to the chicken coop, where I discovered this clutch of nice farm eggs. The cluckers are earning their living, for sure.

Into the Lodge skillet with a few of those eggs, while the sausage is cooking in the oven.  Notice how stiff the albumen is on these beauties.

The final product.  Swedish potato sausage, two farm eggs with a liberal dose of Yucateco sauce, Ketchup and some full strength horseradish.  A meal fit for a king, or just a guy who plans to work outside for most of the day.

  1. Ahhh! Another lover of ketchup & horseradish!
Nothing like going out to the coop in the morning and getting fresh eggs for breakfast. City folk don't know what they are missing....

    1. Right on Chickenmom!! Next year I'm going to order some Black Copper Marans, and get dark, dark brown eggs.
