Advice for Obama:

Extend the Bush tax cuts, from Bill Clinton!

And hey, we need to extend the Bush tax cuts because the country is in a recession, says Larry Summers!

Good conservative advice from solid liberal politicians.  So this tells me that these guys know what is right to do, even if they usually don't do it.
