"I would call this storm extremely dangerous," said Karleisa Rogacheski, a meteorologist with the NWS Sacramento office.

A colossal storm is poised to barrel across the northern Sierra Nevada Wednesday evening, with high winds whipping heavy falling snow and creating blizzard conditions.
Hey, Global Warming is here!  Call Al Gore.
It's just a steady rain so far in Redding.

  1. It's sunny and warm in the Northern Arizona mountains. The snow is melting. I frankly hope that the storm drops all the water on the Sierras so that the California reservoirs will be overwhelmed by water and snow-melt, yet again. It vindicates their war on the weather and the weather tax.

  2. Haven't had to water plants for several weeks. I think the plum and peach trees will have an awesome fruiting this spring. The herb planters are getting out of control though. Time to harvest and make some fresh salsa.
