    1. You may not like Manhattan but the average 1 bedroom apartment is well over one million dollars today.
      Based on that seems like there is no shortage of people that want to live there.

  6. I sent this terrific photo to a US Marine Vietnam veteran buddy who is a retired NYC fire chief. His reply was, "Back when the city was civil."

    My comeback was, "It may have been more civil than today but compared to the rest of our once great nation back then, NYC was insanely wild and crazy!"
