And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Many years ago, in the Maryland suburbs of D.C. I found a bunch of rocks, so I thought, in a hillside that were actually ancient oysters long buried so that they were preserved in an anaerobic situation. When cracked open the inner parts were small crystalline vugs. Wish I still had some of those pieces, but many moves - Air Force brat - and they got lost. Poop...
