And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Miss Budweiser boat shop at Boeing field spring 1979. Six Rolls Royce Griffon engines are lined up to have their superchargers installed.
Damn! No wonder they sounded like they did on lake Champlain, a RR engine. Watched a really great documentary other dayg on RR producing the Merlin and Griffin engines. Get to see why RR has such an impeccable rep. Its a WWII company production. Fantastic shots of their core mold and foundry shop, they build their own machine tools also. Totally impressive film. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oPenAdFYmhk
National Air and Space Museum hosted a 100th Anniversary party for the RAF. The RCAF flew in their Lancaster. If flew over my house. FOUR Merlins in perfect synchronization. Magnificent!
Back when they used to run on the Detroit River. You went every year just to see if anyone died. They hid a lot of these Rolls and Allisons from the boaters because they blew so many of them up. Once the racers transitioned to turbines the piston engines started coming out of the woodwork.
