And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Ok, it’s not a Dodge Madness post but it does feature a pickup. So a bit off topic… I was behind a 1965 Dodge D100 Utiline stepside pickup the other day. It was a nice restoration not a hot rod. It had the small trapezoidal rear window and the short bed. Had the embossed side panels and the embossed panel around the rear window. Guy painted it a nice Forest Green . It was slow and quiet so my guess is a small straight 6. The full size cab and hood looked imbalanced with the 6.5’ stepside bed. The engine didn’t smoke but the exhaust stank. I haven’t been around a pre-catalytic vehicle in a long time and had forgotten how much exhaust used to smell.
