Some people and their ideas about fun.

  1. Okay, I get it, he's all brave and has trained to be very balanced, but I see a safety line connected to his ankle by 5 or 6 feet of line. If he slips, he will end up hanging upside down without the ability to reach the main line, he just hangs there. Is it just me, or is something wrong with his idea of safety?

    1. My guess is that he’s fit and obviously not a fatso so…. Im pretty sure he can reach his ankle( i know i could) while hanging, grab the lanyard and a quick hand over hand to reach the wire. Then either get back up or slither your way to the side that’s closer. But then again I’ve been climbing trees for a living for over 30 years now so i see it differently.

    2. There's a second line there you can't see in that photo that's used to pull the person towards the anchor points if they can't recover by themselves.

  2. I believe he lacks commitment. If he was truly committed, there wouldn't be any safety line tied to his ankle.

  4. It's called, "Slacklining". Look it up. Or view some YouTube videos about it. If there is a fall, they have the ability to get back up and keep on going.
