And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Judging by the trees, probably in Sweden or Finland
Many countries don't have a legal drinking age but they have a legal purchasing age, so your parents could give you a beer or wine. Some EU countries the legal purchasing age is 16 for stuff like beer, cider etc, it's generally 18 though. So that could be drink whatever it is.
The US boggles the mind, you can you can join the military at 17 and go shoot people in a foreign land, potentially die there, you can vote and enter into legal contracts but a beer is verboten until you're 21. Who came up with that schit?
I think that most Scandinavian trees are now Alaska natives that outcompeted them. The Sitka spruce, I think. I found that out by looking up the worlds tallest trees on the wiki.
A very pretty young lady. I am guessing that the beer is not hers since she is quite young looking.

Yep. Sitka spruce. Underage drinking law isn’t going to slow down an Alaskan girl.
