And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Strangely, exotically beautiful. On my planet, or my corner of this one, water only exists in a liquid state. From time to time tiny amounts go solid but that rarely exists longer than a couple of hours and the last time I can think of was five or ten years ago. The only way to get solid water is buy it or freeze it yourself.
I lived in Minnesota for ten very long winters. I've had enough of that kind of winter.
