And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Nice, I saw a Camaro that had been Trans Am'd at a car show a couple of years back. It was a Bandit car right down to the screaming chicken on the hood that was hand painted, duel tipped exhaust, and gold snowflake wheels that were 18".
I have seen cold air intakes on other cars (especially aftermarket styles). The whole idea of moving away from a standard system, as well as it's usual location, is to obtain, . . . cold air . . . . [rather than the warmer air nearer the engine; it is desired to have colder air (more dense, therefore, more oxygen, therefore additional power, etc.)]. But, . . . in this case, it's just taking air from the usual location. Correct?
The cold air intake is plumbed to the shaker and pulls outside air from the cowl area through the (open) back of the shaker, like the original T/A shakers.
Gotta take my cousin to the eye dr on Monday.
ReplyDeleteCan I borrow that car?
My dad had an caddy Eldorado Barritz in the same blue interior with the outside the same color. Had everything but a phone.
ReplyDeleteLS-swapped belly button car. Show me one with a real Pontiac engine.

ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll ask. What's going on with that tube thing in the front? Not big enough to be a super charger. And in the wrong place to be a turbo.
ReplyDeleteCold air intake. Throttle body is right behind it. Square doohicky is mass airflow sensor.

DeleteWonder what the gas mileage is and which fuel do you use to keep it running?
ReplyDeleteHeltau
with a car like that, no one really cares what the mileage is.
