    2. Let's be fair: no one working on it nor producing it at the First National Stock Company in the summer of '42 had any wild frickin' idea at the time they were capturing lightning in a bottle, and making one of the Top Five Movies Ever Made. It was just another knock-it-out nine-week wonder.

      And if we're picking, you keep Ilsa.
      My choice is Yvonne, who was far prettier than Ingrid Bergman, and was the last surviving cast member until her death in 2016 at age 92.
      She was 19 when the film was made.
      (Only a year older than Lauren Bacall, btw, just two years before she met Bogart.)
