And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Heh, regarding the aircraft that landed gear up at the 2:38 mark, I did an insurance rebuild on a Beechcraft V tail a bunch of years ago, for the same reason.
Back in the 80's my squadron used to do missile profiles against Navy ships....we would fly over so low that you could watch the sailors hit the deck as the sound hit them just about the same time as the aircraft was a few dozen feet above them. Fun!
Back in the 80's worked in an inn with a look out tower, that used to be a coast guard station. We had a group of F-15 pilots staying at the inn for some training going on at local base. One pilot told me to make sure i was in the tower at 4pm that day. So at 10 to, me and a girlfriend went out onto the widows walk and 2 F-15's came across the water and went straight up above us. I could feel the heat of the exhaust. Was really great to witness.
