The “lion gate” at the ancient city of Hattusa, in modern Turkey. Hattusa was the capital of the Hittite empire, which ruled over greater Syria and modern day Turkey between 1700-1200 BC.

  1. Part of the reason I don't automatically believe the "experts" in ANYTHING is because they often spout off without proof: the Hittite empire's existence being one of them.
"Oh no there's no evidence for the Hittites mentioned in the bible". Now there's irrefutable proof they existed and the bible is correct....as always.

    1. Amen. If you want something interesting, check out the "Patterns of Evidence" documentaries. The Exodus one is amazing.

    2. Please tell me this is a joke!
i would be happier not getting the joke than believing that somebody can be this closeminded.

Tell me again on what part of the bible can one find dinosaurs? What about bacteria? Any mention of computers?

Are we supposed to assume that since any of those things are not in the bible they don't in fact exist?

  2. The late great novelist Walker Percy (from Greenville, MS - UNC summa cum laude & Columbia Med School) asked a great question..."What ever happened to the Hittites?"

His novels are very recommended reading. You have to read them in chronological order to understand, as that's why/how they were written. His last "The Thanatos Syndrome" dealt with the USG drugging public water in Baton Rouge to create a docile society.
