And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? So I grew up on southern Louisiana in the late 70s. Gators were protected at the time. We used to fly fish the bayou. Occasionally you see the gators out and about. The large ones would just ignore you, but you could flip a lure out in front of the smaller (5 ft or less) and they would follow it to the boat. Fun times for the uninitiated....
Yep. Croc. About 30 years ago, I was night fishing with a buddy, using lighted bobbers, and a small gator grabbed mine and cruised across the top of the river with its mouth lit up. It was surreal and funny as Hell. (It eventually spit it out, since it wasn't food.)
That appears to be a crock or caiman, not a gator.
