And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Love to run over to Maine for the day, got a few remote locations, hunting fresh clean oysters and muscles, catching crabs, one spot for sea clams, catch a few fish, head back to the house for a sea food chowder. Like fresh muscles best, so many ways to make them, though steamed dipped in butter is my preference.
I got food poisoning from eating oysters on the half shell over in Seattle a long time ago. Had to be flying my passengers back to Montana the next morning. It was difficult for me. I can never eat another of those even up to today.
"Hey Grandpa, what's for supper?" Oysters, snails, and a crab. 'Bout the only thing missing are some steamed mussels and maybe an abalone. A lobster and a few tiger shrimp would be nice along with some urchin. "Mmmm-Mmmm, good!"
Ain't eating any oysters this time of year & don't care where they are from.
