  3. If you sail long enough the day will come when you will need to get to the top of the mast.
    Thankfully for her it seems to be a very calm day. Going up the mast in choppy seas is not fun.

  7. Notice too she's not in a boatswain's (bos'un) seat. This means there is the risk of her spilling inverted. There is added skill to manage the risk.

    She is either ignorant or possesses the requisite skill. I think the latter. And I don't see anyone on deck on overwatch, acting as 'angel'.
