  7. In an area prone to frequent earthquakes, brushfires, and mudslides, that's the epitome of stupid architecture.
    Before we get to what it'd cost to heat and cool it enough to be habitable.

    This is where you live when you have more money than IQ points.
    Which explains sooooo much about L.A. since about 1930.
