And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Germans sitting on a Spitfire aircraft brought down on the wet sands at Calais during construction of the Atlantic Wall
That's fairly shortly after it was shot down. When it was recovered it didn't look like that. They may salvage a few bits, use a few parts for patterns with the serial number being retained for the identity of the new build. Its really a new build that flies.
