And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

When strangers would comment about the 'cuteness' of my dogs I would reply that it wasn't easy having dogs smarter than I was. And I wasn't kidding. It wasn't easy, but it was always a joy.
yep but,,, dogs aint hoomans. you gotta notice who is higher up the ladder on the food chain. did make me think that mebbe we oughta treat them wanna be girl athletes different. LIKE DOGS.nah, not that good.
My daughter has been competing in dog agility for over 20 years (since she was 13). She dogs have ranged from mini schnauzers and border collies to her current crop of Pyrenean Shepherds. The turning ability of them is amazing, their is a reason so many favor the herding breeds.
Just gotta love Agility. Practices every Wednesday evening with a Saluki. Keeps me humble.
