And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Details of the Crowning with Thorns door at the Passion Façade of the Sagrada Família - Spooky!
2026 is the 100th anniversary of Gaudi's death. During a tour of the construction site in 2007, our tour guide said it was projected to be completed in 2026. I wonder if that is still on track.
Got to see Barcelona, and the church, in 1991 after getting back from the desert. It was far from finished, with an unknown completion date. The upcoming Olympics were getting all the attention, with a major crackdown starting on street 'vendors' and vagrants around the tourist attractions.
The Sagrada Família is spooky looking all over.
