  1. I just bought the $154 model for my wife's horse barn.

  2. 60 years ago, factories in MS had no A/C. My neighbor owned Green Fan, which made use 36" & 48" diameter fans for cooling. His sons, Bert & Mark, sold it and became huge residential contractors north of Jackson.

  3. No place that I had worked prior to age 25 had AC. That included factories and restaurant kitchens. The wind chill in the summer was never below 110-115 degrees F. Didn't matter the shift being worked. Harsh reality when starting out, but you got used to it.

I'm sure that's nothing for a lot of you...

  4. Here in the Southwest, the heat is a "dry heat" so it's not like the rest of the country with temperatures in the 100's both at noon and midnight. We have a 20 - 30 degree swing when the sun goes down in the summer. Mornings are really nice.

  5. That fan will stir up dust and debris on the floor. I bought this 20" pedestal fan for my workshop and it moves a lot of air. $85.99
    More affordable too.

    1. If you sweep your workshop floor, you should be good to go.

My wife will place the fan above her tack room to blow the hot air out the doors.
