Wow. The things God comes up with are just mind blowing. The size of these trees is so incredible. I have been to see the Sequoia trees which are bigger (in total mass) than these redwoods, but the redwood are generally taller. I have never been to see these in person. :(
As someone who has seen them in person, I can tell you that it is difficult to impossible to really appreciate how big they are without laying eyes on them. One of those things that really have to be seen to appreciate.
