  1. I was an 18 y.o., two-stripe Airman at Lowry AFB, Denver CO when this film released. A buddy and I decided to go see it on opening weekend without realizing the milestone in Sci-Fi/Horror, we would experience. Over forty five years later, it still carries a high shock value to the uninitiated and will remain one of my favorite films. That and it's follow up.

  2. Ah, a six year enlistee.

I was a 3 striper (Chanute), stationed at RAF Lakenheath. 3yrs, 11mths, 27 days, and 5 minutes. To this day, I've never watched that movie.

  3. I had the video game, based on the second movie, on my Commodore 64. Played the heck out of it, but never could get past level 3.

  7. Took my wife to see this movie when it was released. Swore she would never go to another movie with me again!
Been married 56 years and so far she has kept her word. It's not all bad, just think of all the "chick flicks" I've missed!
