And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I suspect it's rather good as remote islands go. If you take a google mobile drive around you will notice discrete cell not-towers tucked into the landscape at key locations, unobtrusive. Buried hydro service as well, plus hard rock tunnels 'tween the various islands.
Let's say a one pound (or half a kilo) rock at the top peak breaks loose from the freeze/thaw cycles. What would be its velocity by the time it made its way downhill to your house?
How’s the cell service there?

ReplyDeleteThose slopes that end in a cliff make me nervous. I'd never walk home drunk.
