And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
An elderly friend of mine, she was in her 80's at the time, was driving up hill in slow moving traffic in her manual transmission car when the clutch cable suddenly broke. Finding herself stuck she sat there with her hazard warning lights flashing. The moron in the car behind sat behind her blasting his horn, at which point my elderly friend got out of her can, walked back to the car behind and calmly suggested that the driver go and drive her car out of the way whilst she sat in his car holding the horn button down! Classic take down.
