And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I have a smaller (off brand) cordless snow blower. It only has one battery, so it is lighter and easy to use. It does the driveway and the part towards the entry door. I only wish that I bought years earlier, . . . shoveling snow is a pain in the neck.
MIGHT be OK for light dry snow like those snow brooms. Put it in Mn or Wi up against 2 feet of wet, heavy stuff piled to double than by the street plows....uh, no. I'll keep my 10 horse ancient Ariens; it's barely adequate, but it's electric start, runs on gasoline, and can actually handle the winter..
Sure. It might take some days, but sure. Oh, Pro Tip: unless your garage is heated be sure your spare battery packs and charger are kept inside your house.
My 350' driveway makes me glad I have an Ariens. But I've learned not to use gravel, I put down rock dust. Self leveling and sets hard as rock. Cut my maintenance by more than half.
LOL
ReplyDeleteY'all better stock up on batteries and a couple additional chargers if you live in an area with wet heavy snow.

ReplyDeleteCan I use it on a 700' gravel driveway?

DeleteWatch Amazon for sales. I got a good 110v blower a couple years ago for half price.
ReplyDeleteThe day I sold my blower and moved south was indeed a great day. Good luck to all those up north!
ReplyDeleteThat's the best way to deal with snow...
Deletenot sure about the snow blower but i have a Westinghouse generator that works flawlessly. very happy with it,
ReplyDeleteOld joke: I'm going to put my snow shovel on my shoulder and walk south until someone asks me what it is!
ReplyDelete"Cordless snow blower" ha... laughs in Canadian.
ReplyDeleteUnseasonable 31º overnight. Most winters never gets below freezing.
ReplyDeleteIt would never work on my old pea gravel driveway in the Western NC Mtns. Broken windows galore, not to mention passing cars being pelted.
Do it right the first time… buy a Honda.
