  1. Back in the '90s, my employer held a 10-year contract with the National Science Foundation to provide logistics and support services for all U.S activities in Antarctica. I was the Contract Manager (I did admin work and reported to the Project Manager) for 5 of those years. We even procured an icebreaker for the NSA under that contract. Unfortunately, we had to hand off that ice breaker to a new prime contractor when the contract was awarded to a different company at the expiration of our contract. The prime contract is currently held by Liedos.
    Very interesting work being performed down there which most people are not even aware of.

    CW, I agree with your assessment of the "climate scientists", most of whom are bought and paid for with US taxpayer dollars.
