And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Model A block, it's got a starter. Fronty head? Not a Miller. You 're right about the T frame; looks like a stock A axle. Ford wheels. Somebody's dream. If it could only talk.
Worked at a garage that the founder/father had built an Indy Car, late 40's/50's. The son mentioned it once. Vague memory at this point. Model A block(?), with an 8 cyl LaSale crank, twin overhead cams, supercharged. Cam chain measured 12 feet long. Said the intake was ice covered and the exhaust was cherry red, when it came into the pits. Truck rear axle (might have been dually, for traction?). Original driver broke his arm a day or so before race, and a replacement was grabbed. Rear axle broke while running top three, and the wheel bounced into the stands, killed several spectators. Builder was named Righter.
Looks like a dual overhead cam 4 cylinder sitting beside it.
